Introduction

The Texas Conducting Workshop (TCW) is a specialized intensive program designed for music educators and aspiring conductors. Hosted by the University of Texas at Arlington (UTA) the workshop focuses on refining baton technique, rehearsal strategies, and score study in a supportive, hands-on environment. The workshop features significant podium time, outstanding guest faculty, and specific information from experts in various musical fields.

Founded by Dr. Clifton (Clif) Evans, the TCW is currently led by Dr. Silas Huff, current Director of Orchestas at UT Arlington.
